Part-Time Lecturers For Full-Time Associate Degree And Undergraduate Programmes

 

Established in 2000, the College of International Education (CIE) is a self-funded unit of the Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), offering full-time Associate Degree (AD) Programme and Undergraduate (UG) Honours Degree Programmes at both the HKBU Kowloon Tong and Shatin Shek Mun campuses. It is a major education providing unit of the School of Continuing Education (SCE), one of the eight Faculties/Schools of HKBU. CIE currently enrolls about 3,300 students and is committed to sustaining the University’s mission of providing quality whole-person higher education with a Christian heritage. English is used as the medium of instruction at the College. Applications are now invited for the part-time lecturer position for the following course areas /subjects for the Second Semester of 2023-2024 academic year.

[Notes]:

  1. Applicants should possess at least a Master’s degree in relevant discipline and have substantial teaching experience preferably at tertiary level. Competence in using English as the medium of instruction is required.
  2. The appointees are expected to teach theory and/or skill-based courses of Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Sport and Recreation Leadership, Associate Degree Programme (Concentration Studies: Sport and Recreation Studies) and University Core Healthy Lifestyle Courses (e.g. basketball, table tennis, etc.). Competence in using English as the medium of instruction is required. For theory courses, applicants should possess at least a Master’s degree in Sport Sciences and Physical Education.  For skill-based courses, applicants should possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Sport Sciences and Physical Education or related disciplines with coaching certificates in sports or fitness.
