Part-Time Lecturers For Full-Time Associate Degree And Undergraduate Programmes

Established in 2000, the College of International Education (CIE) is a self-funded unit of the Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), offering full-time Associate Degree (AD) Programme and Undergraduate (UG) Honours Degree Programmes at both the HKBU Kowloon Tong and Shatin Shek Mun campuses. It is a major education providing unit of the School of Continuing Education (SCE), one of the eight Faculties/Schools of HKBU. CIE currently enrolls about 3,300 students and is committed to sustaining the University’s mission of providing quality whole-person higher education with a Christian heritage. English is used as the medium of instruction at the College. Applications are now invited for the part-time lecturer position for the following course areas /subjects for the Second Semester of 2023-2024 academic year.

Applicants should possess at least a Master’s degree in relevant discipline and have substantial teaching experience preferably at tertiary level. Competence in using English (or Chinese/Putonghua for the subject marked with ^) as the medium of instruction is required.

[Notes]:

1. The medium of instruction for this course is Putonghua. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience teaching non-Chinese speaking students.
2. Preference will be given to candidates who have a background in Philosophy and/or Cultural Studies.
3. Preference will be given to candidates who are familiar with the Hong Kong education system and with a Masters, EdD or PhD in Education.
