This course aims to provide an in-depth understanding of the importance of supplier-customer relationship in purchasing management. The interactive nature of the relationship will be examined from socio-economic and technological perspectives. Students will learn to develop and adopt appropriate strategies, policies, planning, direction, risk assessment and control to maintain the relationship.

Topics include:

  1. The Nature of Supplier-customer Relationship;   2. Relationship Management; and   3. Application Aspects.
