Established in 2000, the College of International Education (CIE) is a self-funded unit of the Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), offering full-time Associate Degree (AD), Higher Diploma (HD) and Undergraduate (UG) Honours Degree Programmes at the Shek Mun (Shatin) campus.  It is a major education providing unit of the School of Continuing Education (SCE), one of the Faculties/Schools of HKBU.  CIE currently enrolls over 3,500 students and is committed to the University’s mission of providing quality whole-person higher education with a Christian heritage.  English is used as the medium of instruction at the College.  Applications are now invited for the part-time lecturer position for the following course areas /subjects for the First Semester of the 2025-26 academic year.

Applicants should possess at least a Master’s degree in relevant discipline and have substantial teaching experience preferably at tertiary level.  Competence in using English as the medium of instruction is required.  For courses marked with ^, applicants with a Bachelor’s degree AND substantial working experience in relevant discipline will also be considered.  For courses marked with #, applicants should be able to understand and speak Cantonese.

 

[Notes]:

  1. Knowledge in both qualitative and quantitative communication research required.
  2. Health campaign planning experience preferred. 
  3. Knowledge and working experience in advertising and social media marketing required.
  4. Knowledge in both theory and practical works, and a strong network in HK art community preferred.
  5. Knowledge in both scriptwriting and production, with extensive experience of variety shows within the TV industry preferred.
  6. Knowledge in both theory and production, with significant experience of non-fiction filmmaking preferred.
  7. Knowledge in AR, VR, XR, 3D software, and AI tools in design and visual production preferred.
  8. Knowledge in speculative design and working experience in game design or animation preferred.
  9. Knowledge and experience in radio or online broadcasting required.
  10. Knowledge in interface and vector graphic design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch required.
