SCHOOL OF CONTINUING EDUCATION
The School of Continuing Education, one of the seven Faculties/Schools of the University and a major provider of continuing and professional education in Hong Kong, offers a wide range of full-time and part-time programmes at the post-secondary, undergraduate and postgraduate levels for young learners and working adults. It also offers in-house training and short courses to meet the community needs and market demands. Operated on a self-financed basis, the School and its College of International Education currently employ about 400 full-time staff and 500 part-time instructors. The School is inviting applications for the following position:
Programme Officer (Ref. No.: 26270191)
The appointee will be responsible for academic programme administration for Continuing and Professional Education Division. Major duties include: a) planning and coordinating administrative support to daily operation of programmes; b) managing data collection and updating central files and records to support statistical analysis and report generation; c) assisting in the enhancement of work effectiveness of the team through IT skills application and refining work processes; and d) assisting in other event co-ordination and ad hoc projects for the School.
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree holder with at least 1 year of related work experience;
- Good proficiency in computer applications and IT skills;
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
- Effective communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills; and
- Good team spirit, self-motivated and positive attitude.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.
The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract ending in August 2027. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
