We are pleased to offer you a place in the Bachelor of Education (Hons) in Early Childhood Education offered by the School of Continuing Education, Hong Kong Baptist University. Please follow the below procedures for claiming the admission offer by 5:00 pm today (10 July 2019).

 

Claiming Admission Offer & Payment of Tuition Fee

Step 1:	Submit the original and a photocopy of your HKDSE examination results which meet the entry requirements of the Programme
Step 2:	Claim the admission offer by collecting: an admission letter; two debit notes one for payment of enrollment deposit of HK$5,000; one for the remaining balance of the first tuition payment of HK$24,360 and other miscellaneous fees of HK$448 (including an one-off deposit of HK$300, the annual ECE Society Membership Fee of HK$30, the Hong Kong Baptist University Students’ Union (SU) annual membership fee of HK$103 and an one-off Students’ Union Development Fee of HK$15)   Payment Due date Payment methods Enrollment deposit (HK$5,000) Noon of 15 July 2019 *^Cheque, *EPS, *Cash, *Credit Card, *Alipay, *WeChat Pay, *Apple Pay, *Google Pay, *Samsung Pay, *BOC Pay, ATM, PPS, Internet Banking Remaining balance of the first tuition payment (HK$24,360) & Miscellaneous fees (HK$448) Total: HK$24,808 6 August 2019 *^Cheque, *EPS, ATM, PPS, Internet Banking   * Applicants who choose to settle the payments by the above methods with asterisk (*) should go to our service counter located at: SCE 8/F, Madam Chan Wu Wan Kwai School of Continuing Education Tower, Hong Kong Baptist University, 9 Baptist University Road, Kowloon Tong ^  A crossed cheque should be made payable to the “Hong Kong Baptist University”.   Please write your full name in English, application number, HKID number and contact number at the back of your cheque. All the fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
Step 3:	Submit a recent passport-sized colour photo (3.5cm x 4.5cm) for the production of Student ID card and for upload to the online course management system (Moodle).  (Please write your full name in English, application number, HKID number and contact number at the back of your photo.)

 

Important Notes:

1. Your admission offer is confirmed ONLY upon presentation of your HKDSE examination result which meets the entry requirements of the Programme.
2. Those who fail to submit the deposit, the tuition fee and / or other miscellaneous fees by the deadlines will be regarded as declining the offer and their places will be filled by other applicants.
3. The Non-means-tested Subsidy Scheme for Self-financing Undergraduate Studies in Hong Kong (“NMTSS”) of $31,300 provided by the HKSAR Government is NOT applicable to self-financing undergraduate programmes offered by the eight local UGC-funded institutions. In other words, students enrolled in this programme are NOT eligible for the subsidy. For further enquries regarding the NMTSS of $31,300, you may contact the Education Bureau at 3468 2277 or nmtss@edb.gov.hk.

 

Remarks:

1. If Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above is hoisted or Black Rainstorm Signal is in force at 1:00 pm of 10 July 2019, the due date for claiming the admission offer will be postponed to 5:00 pm of 11 July 2019 at the same venue.
2. The deposit is non-refundable unless the candidate has accepted an offer from JUPAS for (i) a full-time UGC-funded undergraduate programme (programmes offered by OUHK and HKAPA are NOT UGC-funded), or (ii) an undergraduate programme subsidized under Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions / Sectors (SSSDP). All refund applications should be made by noon of 7 August 2019 (only applicable to those who are with offer in the JUPAS Main Round) or noon of 21 August 2019 (only applicable to those who are with offer in the JUPAS Clearing Round). There would be an administrative fee of $200 for the refund and late applications would not be considered. Eligible applicants should send an email to sceeceed@hkbu.edu.hk for an Application Form of Refund of Enrollment Deposit after announcement of JUPAS results.
