Part-Time Lecturers For Full-Time Sub-degree And Undergraduate Degree Programmes

 

Established in 2000, the College of International Education (CIE) is a self-funded unit of the Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), offering full-time Sub-degree and Undergraduate (UG) Honours Degree Programmes at the HKBU Shatin Shek Mun campuses. It is a major education providing unit of the School of Continuing Education (SCE), one of the Faculties/Schools of HKBU. CIE currently enrolls about 3,500 students and is committed to sustaining the University’s mission of providing quality whole-person higher education with a Christian heritage. English is used as the medium of instruction at the College. Applicants should possess at least a Master’s degree in relevant discipline and have substantial teaching experience preferably at tertiary level. For courses marked with #, applicants with a Bachelor’s degree AND substantial working experience in relevant disciplines will also be considered.  Competence in using English (or Cantonese for the courses marked with * ) as the medium of instruction is required.

 

[Notes]:

  1. Knowledge in both qualitative and quantitative communication research required.
  2. Knowledge and working experience in advertising and social media marketing required.
  3. Knowledge in PR and journalistic writing required; working experience in social service marketing preferred.
  4. Knowledge and experience in radio or online broadcasting required.
  5. Knowledge in speculative design and working experience in game design or animation preferred.
  6. Knowledge in explainer video production, digital ads and infographics required.
  7. Knowledge in both theory and practical works, and a strong network in HK art community preferred.
  8. Knowledge in creative writing for animation and video game narrative required; recognized working experiences in animation or game industry preferred.
