Part-Time Lecturers For Full-Time Sub-degree And Undergraduate Degree Programmes

 

Established in 2000, the College of International Education (CIE) is a self-funded unit of the Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), offering full-time Sub-degree and Undergraduate (UG) Honours Degree Programmes at the HKBU Shatin Shek Mun campuses. It is a major education providing unit of the School of Continuing Education (SCE), one of the Faculties/Schools of HKBU. CIE currently enrolls about 3,500 students and is committed to sustaining the University’s mission of providing quality whole-person higher education with a Christian heritage. English is used as the medium of instruction at the College. Applications are now invited for the part-time lecturer position for the following course areas /subjects for the 2024-2025 academic year.

[Notes]:

 

  1. The appointees are expected to teach theory-based courses of the Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Sport and Recreation Leadership Programme.  Applicants should possess at least a Master’s degree in Sport Sciences and Physical Education or related disciplines. Competence in using English as the medium of instruction is required.
  2. The appointees are expected to supervise students in completing an academic research of topic relevant to sport and recreation.
  3. The appointees are expected to teach the skill-based healthy lifestyle course of the Associate Degree Programme.  Applicants should possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Sport Sciences and Physical Education or related disciplines with coaching certificates in sports or fitness. Competence in using English as the medium of instruction is required.
