Part-Time Fieldwork Supervisors for Full-Time Associate Degree Programme

Established in 2000, the College of International Education (CIE) is a self-funded unit of the Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), offering full-time Associate Degree (AD), Higher Diploma (HD) and Undergraduate (UG) Honours Degree Programmes at the Shek Mun (Shatin) campus.  It is a major education providing unit of the School of Continuing Education (SCE), one of the Faculties/Schools of HKBU.  CIE currently enrolls over 3,500 students and is committed to the University’s mission of providing quality whole-person higher education with a Christian heritage.  English is used as the medium of instruction at the College.  Applications are now invited for the part-time Fieldwork Supervisor positions for the following course areas /subjects for the Second Semester of the 2025-26 academic year.

DIVISION OF SOCIAL SCIENCES

Applied Social Service - Social Service Attachment (Ref. No.: PRSCEP0003/25-26)

The general role of supervisors is to (a) supervise students (including on-site supervision) regarding their fieldwork placements in social service settings; (b) mark student assignments; and (c) keep good connection with the social service agencies.

Medium of Instruction: Cantonese (supplemented with English)

Requirements

• Applicants should possess at least a Master’s degree in relevant discipline.
• Applicants should also possess post-degree related professional practice experience.
• Experience in teaching or fieldwork supervision is preferred.
