The Early Childhood and Elementary Education Division (ECEED) is the premier provider of early childhood and primary school teacher education in Hong Kong. We offer a variety of full-time and part-time academic programmes for students pursuing qualifications ranging from certificates to postgraduate levels. Applications are now invited for the following position:
Senior Programme Officer (Ref. No.: 25260764)
Responsibilities:
The appointee will be responsible for providing administrative and secretarial support for the Division.
- Managing various aspects of programme administration, such as admissions, class and exam scheduling, practicum arrangements, coordination of scholarship schemes and graduation events;
- Preparing quality assurance reports and statistical reports;
- Handling inquiries, complaints and correspondence;
- Organising meetings and programme activities;
- Updating programme handbooks and webpages, as well as preparing publicity materials; and
- Performing any other duties as assigned by the supervisor(s).
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree with at least three years of relevant work experience;
- A strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua;
- Effective communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines; and
- Proficiency in computer applications and statistical data analysis.
The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract ending in August 2027. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding. The primary work location will be at the Shek Mun (Shatin) Campus.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
