Project Objective 1. inspire participants to carve their own career path through their engagement in various self-development activities;
2. boost participants’ confidence in their workplace, in life and beyond by equipping them with leadership and social skills;
3. establish rapport and community spirit among higher educated persons with disabilities and SENs;
4. encourage participants to take the initiative and become active members of society;
5. build disability confidence and raise awareness around inclusive employment in civil society

Greetings! Please take a few minutes to think about the following questions. Ask yourself that do you want to improve your career prospects? Are you finding your career passion? Are you looking for career inspiration?

If your answer is yes to any of the questions above, do not hesitate and check out the CareER Jockey Club “Thriving Grass” Career Development Program CareER賽馬會「疾風草」職涯發展計劃!

This program is designed to provide you with an array of career and personal development opportunities through:

  •  Summer/Off-cycle Internship at corporate, social enterprise, NGOs and start-ups
  •  Job Skills & Leadership Training Workshops covering workplace communication, personal branding, and self-leadership
  • Personality Assessment, Career Coaching & Counseling conducted by qualified professionals
  • Experiential Learning Activities such as expressive art workshops, accessible hikes and seasonal gatherings, at which you candiscover new interests and make new friends
  • Alumni Sharing Events, at which CareER alumni from different industries and backgrounds will share with you their career journeys


How to Apply?
For university students and graduates with disabilities or SENs who are not existing members of CareER,

  1. Go to https://careerhk.force.com/Member/s/login/
  2. Click “New Register” at the bottom of the page
  3. Fill out a simple member intake form
  4. Our staff will contact you within a week to activate your membership

For existing members of CareER,

  1. Log in to our member community portal
  2. Register for our Thriving Grass 2022 program by clicking “Program” under “Activity Enrollment”
  3. Fill out a simple registration
  4. Please refer to an email titled “Welcome to CareER” sent by crm_enquiry@career.org.hk to get started. For any enquiry, please contact Rebecca (9165 5365) or through crm_enquiry@career.org.hk. –
