HKDSE Level 3 in Chinese Language and English Language, Level 2 in Mathematics Compulsory Part, “Attained” in Citizenship and Social Development, and Level 3 in two elective subjects*; or

- The five-year full-time Bachelor of Nursing (Honours) Programme (BNurs) is accredited by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong (NCHK). Graduates will be eligible to obtain licence to practise as Registered Nurses (General) in Hong Kong. The programme prepares students to serve in a wide range of healthcare settings including acute, rehabilitation and community to help patients reach their greatest healing potentials. The curriculum focuses on the latest developments in the IT industry such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics and Cybersecurity.

- Bootcamp in Mathematics and Programming
A two-week bootcamp in mathematics and programming will be held prior to the commencement of the programme to prepare students on their journey to become data professionals.

Graduates may apply for admission to various undergraduate programmes including local UGC-funded programmes, local self-funded programmes or programmes at overseas universities.

- Programme Features
- A wide selection of 5 complementary courses and 20 elective clusters.
- Students can apply for direct admission to the HKBU Higher Diploma in Management Programmes offered by SCE and Associate Degree Programmes offered by CIE via the Special Admission Scheme.
- The qualification attained is comparable to Level 2 in five subjects (including Chinese Language and English Language) in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE), which is accepted by the Government as meeting the academic entry requirement for a number of civil service posts.
- Students successfully completed the programme with the complementary course of Maths Plus will attain the DAE with qualification equivalent to Level 2 in five subjects (including Chinese Language, English Language and Mathematics) in the HKDSE, which is accepted by the Government as meeting the academic entry requirement for a number of civil service posts.
- Quality teaching team together with experienced field practitioners as advisors will help students to have a fruitful learning experience.
- The learning center is well equipped and located in downtown with convenient transportation. Students may also enjoy the recreational facilities and campus services at Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) campus.
- Class teachers would be arranged and counselling support would be available to assist students transferring from secondary schools to tertiary education.
- Different kinds of student activities including practicum, field visit, first aid certificate classes and volunteer services, etc. would be organized to help students in developing their personal values. Learning support including revision classes would be conducted for students before the examinations.

- Admission Requirements
- Level 2 in five HKDSE subjects+ (including Chinese Language* and English Language); or
- Relevant and substantial work experience and/or prior qualification(s) obtained in or outside Hong Kong with demonstrated ability to undertake sub-degree education; or
- Successful completion of the Diploma of Applied Education or equivalent; or
- Other equivalent qualifications to be assessed by the School; or
- Aged 21+ with acceptable qualifications to justify admission
+ If one of the five HKDSE subjects is Citizenship and Social Development, the minimum entrance requirement would be “Attained” in this subject and Level 2 in four other HKDSE subjects (including Chinese Language*and English Language). Level 2 in Extended Part of Mathematics (Module 1 or Module 2) is recognised as one of the five HKDSE subjects. Applicants can use Applied Learning subjects for admission purposes.
* “Attained” or above in Applied Learning Chinese (for non-Chinese speaking students) would be accepted as an alternative Chinese Language qualification.

- Students can obtain conditional offers through the Special Admission Scheme of HKBU Higher Diploma in Management Programmes offered by SCE and Associate Degree Programme offered by CIE

- Admission Requirements
- Level 2 in HKDSE English Language and Chinese Language+; or
- Level 1 in HKDSE English Language and Chinese Language AND at least 6 points in the best five subjects* # +; or
- Other equivalent qualifications to be assessed by SCE

* Application will be considered for admission in the following circumstances:
i) An applicant has obtained “Attained” in Citizenship and Social Development and at least 4 points in four other subjects; or
ii) An applicant has attempted less than five subjects but obtained 6 points.
# Applicants can use not more than two Applied Learning subjects for admission purposes.
- Programme Features
- A wide selection of 5 complementary courses and 20 elective clusters.
- Students can apply for direct admission to the HKBU Higher Diploma in Management Programmes offered by SCE and Associate Degree Programmes offered by CIE via the Special Admission Scheme.
- The qualification attained is comparable to Level 2 in five subjects (including Chinese Language and English Language) in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE), which is accepted by the Government as meeting the academic entry requirement for a number of civil service posts.
- Students successfully completed the programme with the complementary course of Maths Plus will attain the DAE with qualification equivalent to Level 2 in five subjects (including Chinese Language, English Language and Mathematics) in the HKDSE, which is accepted by the Government as meeting the academic entry requirement for a number of civil service posts.
- Quality teaching team together with experienced field practitioners as advisors will help students to have a fruitful learning experience.
- The learning center is well equipped and located in downtown with convenient transportation. Students may also enjoy the recreational facilities and campus services at Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) campus.
- Class teachers would be arranged and counselling support would be available to assist students transferring from secondary schools to tertiary education.
- Different kinds of student activities including practicum, field visit, first aid certificate classes and volunteer services, etc. would be organized to help students in developing their personal values. Learning support including revision classes would be conducted for students before the examinations.
- The qualification is awarded by Hong Kong Baptist University, School of Continuing Education.
