Assistant Student Development Officer (Ref. No.: PRSCE0002/23-24)

The appointee will be responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of initiatives and procedures for College-wide student activities and cross-cultural learning opportunities offered by the Student Development Centre of the College of International Education (CIE).  The appointee is required to perform major duties as follows: a) providing administrative, secretarial support to the Centre and committees; b) liaising with internal and external parties; and c) ensuring that the operations of the Centre are in compliance with rules and guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree holder;
• Relevant experience is preferred;
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
• Outgoing, proactive, detail-minded and independent personality with strong sense of responsibility; and
• Proficiency in computer applications.

Initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The appointee will be required to serve on the Shatin Shek Mun Campus of the College of International Education.
