The School of Continuing Education, one of the eight Faculties/Schools of the University and a major provider of continuing and professional education in Hong Kong, offers a wide range of full-time and part-time programmes at the post-secondary, undergraduate and postgraduate levels for young learners and working adults. It also offers in-house training and short courses to meet the community needs and market demands. Operated on a self-financed basis, the School and its College of International Education currently employ about 400 full-time staff and 500 part-time instructors. The Public Relations and Communication Section invites applications for the following position to plan and support PR activities and marketing projects.

 

Assistant PR and Communication Officer (PRSCE0069/21-22)

 

Major Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and procurement support to promotion initiatives and advertising campaigns;
  • Manage office administration work including website updating, documentation and budget monitoring;
  • Support media placement and production of marketing collateral;
  • Plan and coordinate logistics for Education Expos, outreach activities and visits;
  • Administer eNewsletter membership operations including applications, membership and privileges updates

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication/Business related disciplines;
  • Preferably 3 years of relevant work experience;
  • Organised, flexible and detailed minded;
  • Good team player; possess effective communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English;
  • Good knowledge in computer application and design software such as Photoshop and Illustrator would be an advantage.

 

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

 

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
