Programme Assistant (Ref. No.: PRSCE0056/22-23)

The appointee will be responsible for providing frontline administrative support to the College of International Education (CIE). The appointee is required to assist mainly in the following areas: a) general administrative duties pertaining to the Division of Arts and Languages; b) programme admission and registration; c) record keeping; and d) student activities and College functions, such as information day and orientation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Holder of Associate Degree or Higher Diploma with at least one year of relevant experience;
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, Putonghua an advantage;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work independently; and
• Proficiency in computer applications including MS Office application

Applicants who have completed secondary education, with at least 5 passes in HKCEE including English Language (at least Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007) and Chinese Language (at least Level 2 from 2007), or at least 5 subjects attaining Level 2 in HKDSEE including English Language and Chinese Language will also be considered.

The initial appointment for the above post will be made on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The appointee will be required to serve at the Shatin Shek Mun Campus of the College of International Education.
