Senior Research Assistant (Ref. No.: PRSCE0037/22-23)

The appointee will be assigned to the Early Childhood and Elementary Education Division to support a commissioned project for the development of curriculum framework on parent education (secondary school) in Hong Kong. Duties mainly include: a) designing research tools; b) conducting data collection and analysis; c) coordinating the project; d) writing reports / proposals; and e) organizing project related activities and seminars. The appointee will also be involved in the coordination and compilation of publication, and related administration and manpower arrangement.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology / Education / Social Science with at least 3 years of post-qualification research experience;
• Master’s degree in related disciplines with less experience would also be considered ;
• Strong command of both written and spoken English and Chinese ;
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills ; and
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and computer applications including MS Office application (English and Chinese), SPSS, etc.

Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of around 1 year and 5 months commencing in February 2023.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
