Assistant Student Development Officer (Ref. No.: 23240918)

The appointee will be responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of initiatives and procedures for College-wide student activities and cross-cultural learning opportunities offered by the Student Development Centre of the College of International Education (CIE) at the Shatin Shek Mun Campus.  The appointee is required to perform major duties as follows: a) providing administrative, secretarial support to the Centre and committees; b) liaising with internal and external parties; and c) ensuring that the operations of the Centre are in compliance with rules and guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree holder;
• Relevant experience is preferred;
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Putonghua);
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
• Outgoing, proactive, detail-minded and independent personality with strong sense of responsibility; and
• Proficiency in computer applications. Skills and experience in graphic design, video production and website management are preferred.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written assessment.

The initial appointment for the above post will be made on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
