If Rainstorm ‘Amber’ or ‘Red’ Warning Signal is in force before class hours, students are expected to come to classes provided that it is permissible under the prevailing traffic and weather conditions. If typhoon signal no. 8 or above is hoisted or black rainstorm signal is in force at the following time, classes/examinations* will be cancelled/postponed:

* Examinations which are in session when typhoon signal no. 8 or above is hoisted will continue until the end of the session.

Classes and examinations which are in session when black rainstorm signal is issued will continue until the end of the session.

Announcement made by the Education Bureau may not reflect the School's decision. Typhoon

1. All classes will be cancelled when Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above is hoisted. If this takes place in the middle of the day, all classes will be suspended immediately. Examinations which are in session when Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above is hoisted will continue until the end of the session. All other examinations scheduled for the day will be postponed.
   
2. If the Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above remains hoisted at 6:15 a.m., all classes / examinations scheduled between 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. will be cancelled / postponed. If, however, the Typhoon Signal No. 8 is lowered at or before 6:15 a.m., all classes / examinations commencing at or after 8:30 a.m. will be held as scheduled.
   
3. If the Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above remains hoisted at 11:00 a.m., all classes / examinations scheduled between 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. will be cancelled / postponed. If, however, the Typhoon Signal No. 8 is lowered at or before 11:00 a.m., all classes / examinations commencing at or after 1:30 p.m. will be held as scheduled.
   
4. If the Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above remains hoisted at 3:00 p.m., all classes / examinations scheduled after 5:30 p.m. will be cancelled / postponed. If, however, the Typhoon Signal No. 8 is lowered at or before 3:00 p.m., all classes / examinations commencing at or after 5:30 p.m. will be held as scheduled.
   
5. All examinations scheduled at their regular class meeting time which have been postponed due to bad weather conditions will be conducted at the next class meeting time. Other examinations will be re-scheduled and announced by the programme administrators or Registry whichever appropriate.
   

Rainstorm

If Rainstorm ‘Amber’ or ‘Red’ Warning Signal is in force before class hours, students are expected to come to classes provided that it is permissible under the prevailing traffic and weather conditions. If a Rainstorm ‘Amber’ or ‘Red’ Warning Signal is issued in the middle of the day, students are advised to stay indoors. Classes will continue and offices will remain open.

1. Students are not expected to come to class or for examinations if a Rainstorm ‘Black’ Warning Signal is issue.
   
2. If a Rainstorm ‘Black’ Warning Signal is issued in the middle of the day, students are advised to stay indoor to take shelter. Classes / Examinations which are in session will continue until the end of the session, while all other classes / examinations will be suspended / postponed.
   
3. If a Rainstorm ‘Black’ Warning Signal remains in force at 6:15 a.m., all classes / examinations scheduled before 1:30 p.m. will be cancelled / postponed. If, however, the Rainstorm Warning Signal is removed or the ‘Amber’ or ‘Red’ warning signal is issued at or before 6:15 a.m., all classes / examinations commencing at or after 8:30 a.m. will be held as scheduled.
