童年階段在個人成長過程中佔了一個非常重要的位置，並且為日後各方面發展奠定了重要的根基。本科目將幼兒至少年期的各方面發展，作扼要探索，並分析如何將心理學之理論應用於教導兒童方面。本科目亦著重探討一些具體的育兒模式與技巧（Parenting style and skills）。
