Programme Aims

This programme aims at providing students with fundamental principles, techniques and knowledge in modern business context. Students will acquire comprehensive knowledge of business, economics and management theories and practices with emphasis on real world business applications and key management issues.

Academic Recognition

Graduates of the Diploma in Business Studies can proceed to the Advanced Diploma in Business Management and other SCE Advanced Diploma programmes. Please check individual higher-level programmes for further information.

Course Schedule and Venue

Students should enrol in either one of the following teaching schedules:

Option 1:

Classes and examinations will be held on weekday evenings and Saturday afternoons (normally two classes per week) at Kowloon Tong / Kowloon East / Tsimshatsui / Wan Chai Learning Centre.

Option 2:

Classes and examinations will be held on both Saturday mornings and afternoons (normally two classes per Saturday) at Kowloon Tong / Kowloon East / Tsimshatsui / Wan Chai Learning Centre.

Minimum Entry Requirements

  1. Completion of Secondary 6 or equivalent; OR
  2. Successful completion of Project Yi Jin; OR
  3. Holder of a relevant School of Continuing Education (SCE) Certificate or equivalent; OR
  4. Aged 18 or above with working experience.
