The programme aims at providing students with signified skills and knowledge of a greater complexity in the business. It offers an integrated understanding of Hong Kong business environment, synthesizing business knowledge while cultivating specialized competence in human resources management function for developing students as human resources management professionals.
The Advanced Diploma in Business (Human Resources Management) programme is partially endorsed by the Hong Kong Institute of Human Resource Management (HKIHRM). With this endorsement, graduates after 31 August 2015 of this programme are eligible to become HKIHRM Associate Member after passing the Associate Member Assessment governed by the HKIHRM. The course aims to provide the students with the concepts of employee relations and communication. Techniques to solve the problems between employers and employees as well as ways to effectively enhance employee relations in various situations will also be taught. Topics include:

This course aims to provide students with a conceptual and a pragmatic approach to understand employees’ behaviour in the organization. It equips students with knowledge and skills to diagnose different behaviour situations and necessary techniques in influencing and controlling the behaviour of employees in the achievement of individual and organizational effectiveness. Topics include:

Students who have successfully completed 12 required courses will be awarded the Advanced Diploma in Business (Human Resources Management).
*Students can apply for Professional Certificate in Human Resources Management as an exit award upon successful completion of the 5 concentration courses in
the Advanced Diploma in Business (Human Resources Management) programme.

Course Schedule and Venue
Classes and examinations will be held on weekday evenings and Saturday
afternoons (normally two classes per week) at Kowloon Tong / Kowloon East /
Tsimshatsui / Wan Chai Learning Centre.
